Cyd heads Whitman Breed’s Real Estate Practice Group. She has practiced in the area of commercial real estate focusing on leasing, finance, acquisition and development for more than 25 years. Cyd was previously Associate General Counsel for a national fully integrated real estate company with development, ownership, management, construction and brokerage operations of office, retail and mixed use properties. She currently represents numerous landlords with retail, office and mixed use portfolios, and as well as national retail and office tenants. Cyd also represents commercial property owners and tenants in tax appeal actions. Additionally, she represents general contractors, trade contractors and individuals in connection with the construction and development of high end residential properties. She has been a panelist and lead speaker on several round table discussions sponsored by the International Council of Shopping Centers and an instructor in real estate courses for the Building Office Managers Association in New York.
